More about the event

Come hang out with Beli founders Judy and Eliot Frost and fellow Beli members for an evening built around the two things we love most: great food and the people who love it. James Beard “Best Chef: Great Lakes” (2025) finalist and Chef-Partner Erling Wu-Bower will also be there to connect with Beli members and share the story behind the Maxwells menu.

The team at Maxwells Trading has curated a cocktail reception featuring a sampling of their most-loved menu items, including Suzuki Tartare, Griddle Bread & Dunks, Prosciutto & Gnocco Fritto and more — along with natural wine and cocktails, all available to enjoy throughout the evening.

Please note: You must be 21+ to drink alcohol. Due to the nature of this experience, we are unable to accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions. Questions? Email supperclub@beliapp.com.

About Maxwells Trading

Maxwells Trading, an Underscore Hospitality restaurant, sits beneath an urban farm by The Roof Crop in Chicago's Kinzie Industrial Corridor. Led by James Beard Award “Best Chef: Great Lakes” (2025) finalists Erling Wu-Bower and Chris Jung, the menu blends Asian influences with deeply American traditions, reflecting the chefs' personal backgrounds and the seasonal bounty harvested from the rooftop above. Warm lighting, analog music, and seasonally rotating floral installations inspired by the farm create a lively, transportive dining experience — and Beli members have made it one of the top-rated restaurants in Chicago.
